The ICC Cricket World Cup 2007 is going up. And Google is making sure that you keep a track of the scores and latest user opinion on this mega event which is very popular in the Indian Subcontinent.
The search engine giant has launched a special Cricket section on their Indian specific Google website. This section features live scores and latest cricket news.
Users can get the gadgets for cricket for their Google personalized homepages. They are also providing gadgets for the Google Desktop application.
This cricket section also provides links to cricket specific Orkut communities and features a special cricket blog by former Indian cricketer Krish Srikkanth.
Google is also hosting a contest inviting Cricket fans to blog on Cricket and the best blogger gets a chance to express their cricket views on TV with Kris Srikkanth.
