Reggie Davis is new vice president of marketplace quality at Yahoo!
Search engine company Yahoo! has announced that they are creating a new position in the company by the name of vice president of marketplace quality.
Reggie Davis would be taking over this job at Yahoo as they aim to take on Google in the online advertising market. His work would be to develop a strategy to drive innovation and faster delivery of products in Yahoo’s advertising network.
He would also be managing new hiring in the company to manage Yahoo’s quality teams and listen to customer feedback in an effort to address click fraud, traffic quality, and network placement issues.
Interestingly, Microsoft had also just recently announced their decision to create a new group by combining its search and advertising platform divisions. Both of these companies are struggling to compete against Google in the search engine and online advertising market.
