Napster and AT&T in collaboration on music services
Napster has announced that they are collaborating with the US based telecom giant AT&T. the two companies are going to offer subscribers of AT&T’s wireless and high-speed Internet customers with free digital music.
This service would start offering their services starting next month. Customers would get unlimited access for one year to more than 3 million song tracks through Napster To Go.
They would also be allowed to transfer these songs to compatible wireless phones and music devices.
AT&T said that this service would be available to new or existing AT&T wireless customers outside of the AT&T’s traditional 22-state territory who agree to a two-year wireless agreement with purchase of the SYNC phone by Samsung, or the BlackJack phone.
This news helped Napster at the stock market as their share gained 40 cents to close at $4.22 on NASDAQ.
