Motorola launches RAZR MAXX Ve, ROKR Z6m, W385, W355, W218, W360, W380 and W395 mobile phones
Motorola has made some sort of a comeback by launching as many as eight new mobile phones. These new products are: RAZR MAXX Ve, ROKR Z6m, W385, W355, W218, W360, W380 and W395.
However, the market experts were somewhat disappointed as the company did not launch any of their next-generation “Scalpel” platform based mobile phones.
Motorola RAZR MAXX Ve was the most impressive of the lot as it fulfills the need for a RAZR product for Verizon Wireless customers. It comes loaded with a 2-megapixel camera, a big 2-inch external screen, and stereo Bluetooth.
Motorola ROKR Z6m is their updated ROKR phone for music fans. It supports CDMA BREW networks and comes loaded with a two-megapixel camera and a 320×240 screen.
The company also launched some midrange phones for the CDMA networks including the W385 and W355.
Motorola’s other new products (W218, W360, W380 and W395) are cheaper phones designed for the GSM network. These phones are based on the Motorola’s new AJAR platform. Experts believe that this new platform for these phones would be more stable and less buggy compared to the company’s earlier generation of cheaper phones.
