Apple now allowing users to complete their albums at reduced prices from iTunes
Apple is the market leader in the digital media sales. The company’s Apple iTunes web store is the most popular online destination to purchase digital music.
The company has started a new service which would benefit the consumer by letting them complete their media collection with complete albums at reduced prices.
Eddy Cue, Apple’s vice president of iTunes said in a statement on this new development: “One of the great things is that you can only do this in the digital world. It gives customers a great new way of getting music.”
Using this feature, a buyer can upgrade his purchased single tracks to complete albums without paying for the whole album again.
With this feature, Apple gives them a full $0.99 credit for every song they have purchased from a particular album from the full price.
However, there is a catch. Consumers have a grace period after purchasing a song to compete their albums.
Cue added: “We thought it was a great idea to give people the opportunity to go back and buy albums without paying extra. It’s hard to imagine a music fan not loving this feature.”
