TiVo offering sharing of personal videos using One True Media service
TiVo is one of the most popular digital video recorder service providers in the United States. They are also now offering their subscribers access to movies downloaded through Amazon’s Unbox service.
The latest news is that the company is now allowing their subscribers to share personal videos using One True Media’s online video post-production service.
This service allows the customers to create a personal TiVo channel on One True Media service. This would show the videos they’ve uploaded, edited, and scored online.
They can then invite other TiVo owners to subscribe to that channel, at no charge. This video then gets added on the subscriber’s Now Playing list.
The catch is that the service provided by One True Media is not free. They charge USD 4 a month and USD 40 a year.
TiVo further said that they are considering adding advertisements on this service.
