Renault Logan: Petrol - Rs 4.28 lakh and Diesel - Rs 5.47 lakh
French auto major Renault has finally launched their much talked about Logan car in collaboration with Mahindra & Mahindra.
The car was launched in Mumbai today and has been priced competitively. The petrol version would retail for Rs 4.28 lakh. The diesel version would start at Rs 5.47 lakh.
The two companies would be releasing 50,000 units of Logan this year from the Nashik facility in Maharashtra. Logan is the first product of this venture and it would take on the Tata Indigo and Maruti Esteem model.
The pricing is pretty competitive as it costs just around Rs. 30000 more than the Suzuki Swift car which is a hatchback.
Renault President and CEO Carlos Ghosn spoke about their plans for the Indian market: “India offers significant growth and profitability prospects.”

I have been wattching this car since last year when i saw an article in cars & bike magazine. Seems to be good car with competetive pricing. will give a tough fight to other cars in this segement.
