MySpace to hold mock presidential primary early next year
MySpace.com already has a special political section designed to showcase all the presidential candidates for the upcoming elections in the United States.
They are now going one step ahead and have announced their plans to host a mock presidential primary early next year.
To vote on their choice of candidate, a web user has to be a member of the MySpace online social networking service.
Voters would get to see the number of votes a candidate has received on the service itself. The results could be used by the politicians in their actual real life campaigns.
Interestingly, MySpace said that they would make sure that MySpace members who are not yet voting age will also be able to vote in the mock primary. This should give us a broader view of the choice of the web users when it comes to picking up their favorite presidential candidate.
Our prediction is a clear victory for Mr. Obama.
