Key thing here is the R and D. Dell makes econoboxes which are quickly infested with Net droppings. Apple, albeit having stumbled big time in the past, keeps on hitting the sweet spot of peformance mated with cool, with the iPod, the new G5 iMac all-in-one, and so on - and without the curses of using the web with all of Windows' security problems. What's not to like about Apple (except Steve Job's haircut and reality distortion field)?
