Google expanding presence in Poland

Search engine giant Google has announced their new operations center to be located in the Polish city of Wroclaw. This was reported by a Polish newspaper who quoted the company’s European sales chief Colm Long.

Long said in a statement that the company has already begun recruiting people for this new establishment.

This new facility would be Google’s second largest European outpost after Dublin. The company has setup their continental hub in that city.

The company said that this new center would manage client relations for Google’s AdWords advertising system. They aim to have around 100 people working at this unit.

Wroclaw has become the tech hub in the Poland and already has the presence of multinational companies including Hewlett-Packard, LG-Philips and 3M.

Incidentally, Google also has their research and development center in Krakow in the country.
