Toshiba launches HD-A20 HD DVD Player
Japanese consumer electronics maker Toshiba has announced the launch of their latest HD DVD player in the market.
This new product is the Toshiba HD-A20 and it is now shipping in the US market. The company said that this player would sell for $499.99 and it adds to their existing lineup of second generation of HD DVD players.
Toshiba said that this new player makes supports the 1080p resolution at a rather reasonable price offering. Toshiba is now offering the HD-A20 player along with their entry level HD-A2 and the top of the line, HD-XA2.
The company added that these new generations of players feature new advanced features which show their commitment to the technology.
Toshiba further claimed that by using an HDMI(TM) interface, DVD content can be up-converted to near HD picture quality.
