AT&T: Apple iPhone on track for launch this June
Apple has already stated it several times that they are on track to launch their iPhone device in June this year. They even have postponed their upcoming Leopard OS X release to devote more resources to the iPhone to make sure that it is not delayed.
Now, AT&T has added that they too believe that the iPhone should be ready for shipping to the market by June this year. They are the exclusive carrier to this highly anticipated mobile phone product from Apple.
AT&T Chief Operating Officer Randall Stephenson said in a statement: “Our expectations are good. Our testing has been good. The iPhone is on target to launch in June.”
There have been rumors in the market that the iPhone might face some delays due to technical glitches but Apple seems to be working hard on making sure that the product is not delayed. We have already seen a couple of copycat products in the market and they cannot take the risk of giving their rival companies more time to launch competing products.
