Transcend launches 1-inch IDE Flash Disks
Transcend has announced the launch of their latest 1-inch IDE Flash Disks (IFD) series. These disks are available in capacities of up to 8 GB.
The company said that these disks could prove to be very useful to people working in harsh environments. These could also be used in devices like Industrial PCs, Set-Top Boxes, and other industrial computer systems.
Transcend said that these disks are designed with a tough outer metal case and they offer enormous capacities, high reliability, low power consumption, and anti-shock features.
These flash IDE Disks are compact in size, and measures only 40.0mm x 30.0mm x 3.3mm. they come loaded with built-in ECC (Error Code Correcting) functionality that ensures highly reliable data transfer.
In addition, Transcend also announced the launch of their 8GB high-speed SD High Capacity (SDHC) Class 6 card.
