Intex launches Aura, Infi, and King mobile phones with Disney content

Intex Technologies has launched three new GSM mobile phones in the Indian market. These are Aura, Infi, and King.

The company said that these phones are light-weight music phones with user-friendly features and sleek designs. They are preloading these phones with content from Disney to make them an attractive deal for the end user.

For this, they have entered into a collaborative deal with Buena Vista Internet Group. The phones are loaded with sing tones, ring tones, screen savers, and videos of Disney’s endearing cartoon characters.

Narendra Bansal, Chairman and Managing Director of Intex spoke on these new mobile phones: “In the last two years, we have diversified into products which have a direct interface with end users, such as PCs, TFT-LCD monitors, DVD Players, Home Theatre Systems, etc. Our entry into mobile phones is aimed at satisfying communication needs of Indian masses. We have lined up an interesting range of phones with advanced features and good price points. Our association with Walt Disney will hopefully be of great interest to the intelligent, well-exposed, and aspiring young generation of India.”

Intex Aura is a metallic mobile phone which comes loaded with a USB Web camera feature. It has been priced at Rs. 8000 and comes with a 1 GB microSD card.

Intex Infi comes with two in-built speakers and has been designed for music lovers. It comes with 128 MB in-built memory, one touch FM radio, 750 mAh battery, and one-touch smart digital camera with 4 x1 zoom facility.

Intex King is a ‘candy bar’ type monochrome GSM mobile phone. It comes loaded with a one touch FM radio, soft keys, simplified iconic menu, speed dialing, polyphonic ring tones, instrumental melody composer, stand by time of 300 hrs, and large message SMS/ EMS up to 612 characters in Hindi and English. It costs just around Rs. 2050.
