MySpace en Espanol for Spanish speaking web users launched
Web’s most popular online social networking portal MySpace.com is now available in a Spanish language version. News Corp has launched MySpace en Espanol for their Spanish language visitors.
The company added that they are also beta testing MySpace Latinoamerica for the visitors from Latin America. The developers are also working on a localized version for the Brazilian market where Portuguese is the popular language.
MySpace International vice president Travis Katz spoke on their plans: “Were moving rapidly to build communities that reflect and respect the lifestyles of our diverse members. MySpace en Espanol opens the community even wider, giving our Hispanic members the choice to share their experiences, connect with family members, and plan their social lives in either Spanish or English.”
MySpace en Espanol comes loaded with Latino content, programming, artists. MySpace added that they are also making available an instant-messaging feature tailored to Spanish.
MySpace already has localized versions for Britain, France, Japan, Germany, Australia, Ireland and the United States. And they are beta testing localized versions for Italy, Spain, Canada, New Zealand, and Mexico.
