China Telecom to use Google’s advertising solutions
China Telecom has announced that they are partnering with search engine giant Google and they would be now be providing advertising solutions on over 400 Web sites owned by the Chinese firm.
This partnership deal between the two companies would include national and local portals operated by China Telecom which is the largest telecom and internet service provider in China.
The two companies added in their joint statement that they aim to boost the advertising possibilities on the sites operated by China Telecom.
Li Kaifu, president of Google China added that this deal would give them a strong foothold in the Chinese internet market which is the second largest after USA.
Google and China Telecom how did not disclose the financial aspects of their deal.
