Sony to launch a YouTube challenger soon
YouTube is the most popular video sharing service online. It became so popular that Google had to acquire it for a pretty hefty price despite having their own similar service named Google Video.
Some of the rivals to Google’s YouTube include MySpace Videos, MSN SoapBox and some other services owned by companies like Yahoo!
The latest player to jump on this bandwagon is Sony which now plans to launch its own video sharing service this coming Friday.
They are not alone. Even News Corp. along with NBC Universal are working on their own similar service which should be online in the next coming months.
