Dane Glasgow leaves Microsoft’s Internet search group
No matter what Microsoft claims or believe, their search engine division is not doing well. The Live search engine is a disaster and Google continues to dominate the market.
The latest news is that the company has now lost yet another senior executive from their internet search group. Dane Glasgow, general manager of Windows Live Search has announced his decision to leave the company.
Just last month, Microsoft had revealed the departure of Christopher Payne, corporate vice president of Windows Live Search.
The company continues to invest heavily in this department but has failed to generate good results. They have even tried luring corporate users into using their search engine by offering them financial incentives. It is not clear whether that step has benefited the company much.
We have had our own issues with Live Search. The search engine continues to ignore TechWhack and does not index this website. We have tried mailing them as they instruct us to but received no response.

Hi,
Thanks for the heads up with regards to techwhack.com not being indexed in Live Search. This is an issue on our end and we will work to get this fixed as soon as possible.
