Apple iTunes in Europe to get movies soon

Apple is already selling movies on their iTunes digital media store in their home market of USA. They have now revealed that they would bring movies to their European iTunes stores sometime this year.

Apple’s vice president for Europe, Pascal Cagni confirmed these plans while talking to media personals.

He also went on to confirm that the company aims to launch their highly anticipated iPhone in Europe in the fourth quarter of this year.

Apple is also planning to open their retail stores in Paris, France in the coming months.

Cagni claimed that the company has plans to have around 70 sales outlets within larger retail stores open across Europe by the end of the year.

Apple is also due to make available DRM Free songs in the US market starting next month. Their iPhone is expected to be launched in the US market in June this year. Market analysts also believe that they are likely to update their iPod range sometime later this year and the company might launch a full screen iPod version which would be based on their iPhone.
