SanDisk launches Sansa Connect
SanDisk has launched their latest product named Sansa Connect which would now take on the hugely popular Apple iPod nano in the digital music player market.
Sansa Connect comes loaded with a Wi-Fi receiver which is much more capable compared to the one supplied by Microsoft in their Zune player.
The company said that their Connect can stream internet radio as well as download new songs and photos wirelessly.
Market sources say that using this player, users can only download through a Wi-Fi hotspot, not other Connect owners. New songs can only be downloaded from the Yahoo’s music store which has collaborated with SanDisk to launch this feature.
The player comes loaded with 4 GB of storage space which can be further expanded using a MicroSD card.
