Suzuki SX4 to arrive in India before Europe and Japan
In an unusual move, Suzuki would be launching their latest product SX4 Sedan in the Indian market before the car is launched in Japan and Europe.
Suzuki SX4 is due for a launch sometime later this month and it would be the Maruti’s challenger to competing models like Honda City, Ford Fiesta and Hyundai Verna.
The company is likely to price the car at around Rs. 6.5-7.0 lakhs. Market analysts said that the company is targeted to sell around a lakh units per year.
Maruti Suzuki is likely to offer the car in India with integrated music system, auto climate control, adjustable steering and a glass antenna.
It basically replaces the Baleno sedan which Maruti stopped manufacturing last year. The car comes powered with the new age M series engine of Suzuki.
