T-Mobile USA could launch Wi-Fi capable mobile phones
Deutsche Telekom owned US based mobile service provider T-Mobile USA is considering launching mobile phone products which are capable of making use of Wi-Fi networks.
This was reported in a news item by the Wall Street Journal. This would enable the mobile users to use the internet connectivity to make calls.
T-Mobile USA is already testing such service named Hotspot at Home in Seattle.
WSJ reported that the company could launch it nationwide as soon as next month. They quoted unnamed sources in the report.
The company is yet to comment on these latest market rumors related to a possible launch of Wi-Fi capable mobile phones from them.
