Research in Motion launches BlackBerry Curve
Smartphone maker Research in Motion has launched their latest Blackberry device named BlackBerry Curve. This is their smallest and lightest full-keyboard BlackBerry Smartphone yet.
The new RIM Blackberry Curve comes loaded with a 2-megapixel camera with 5X zoom, built-in flash and a full-screen viewfinder.
The device of course allows the user to watch videos and play music like other BlackBerries. RIM added that they have loaded Blackberry Curve with an advanced media manager program and a photo editor as well.
RIM co-Chief Executive Jim Balsillie spoke on Blackberry Curve: “For those that were eagerly awaiting for a Pearl-like design with a full QWERTY keyboard, this is it.”
The company did not reveal a price tag for this device though market analysts believe that it would be available for around $200 through carriers around the globe.
RIM also plans to popularize their Blackberry devices amongst regular customers by offering it for ultra cheap prices (or even free) with contracts in partnership with mobile service providers.
