IBM introduces System Storage DS3000 Series
US based tech giant IBM has announced the launch of their System Storage DS3000 Series. The company said that the DS3000 would allow the customers to manage their data resources in six easy steps.
The system also provides them a solution to handle all their storage needs. IBM’s System Storage DS3000 Series is their new entry-level disk arrays featuring integrated management software which has been designed to give small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), as well as distributed large enterprise customers, a solution to handle all their storage needs.
The company said that one of the key features of this new series is the intuitive Storage Manager software, which comes standard on all configurations and allows customers to set up and manage their data resources in six easy steps.
Shailesh Agarwal, country manager, storage, IBM India, South Asia spoke on this launch: “Small and medium businesses are faced with managing a rising tide of feature-rich e-mail and greater file-print requirements, while large enterprises are implementing new applications, including video security and digital imaging. These customers need an entry storage product that can grow to meet their needs.”
The product range is available in India and IBM System Storage DS3200 will start at a list price of Rs 2,75,000 and DS3400 at Rs 3,00,000.
