Apple launches Apple TV in Korea
Apple Inc has now launched their Apple TV product in the Korean market. Apple TV is a multimedia device designed by the company to let the consumers play digital media like movies stored on their computers on their television sets.
The data is transmitted from the computer to the Apple TV wirelessly and it comes equipped with a remote to make it easier for the user to control the display.
Users can also search and hunt for a particular media content stored on their machine within a 9-meter radius and play it on a wide-screen TV.
The Apple TV comes loaded with a 40GB hard drive, which is enough capacity to hold 50 hours of video or 9,000 music files and 25,000 photos.
Philip Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Product Marketing spoke on this product: “Apple TV is like a DVD player for the Internet era. Everybody can play their own multimedia content on wide-screen TVs with Apple TV.”
