Sure PSP can play movies. So can my Phone. Sure it can play Mp3’s. So can my iPod. Sure it can play D-Pad games. So can my Ps2. Can it totally rejuvinate the gaming world with new innovations? No. Its the same thing but portable. I don’t own either but I owned a 64 when everyone owned a ps1. ‘Little kids games’ you all might say. Not any more childish than Spyro or Crash bandicoot or Ape escape or… the list goes on. Just goes to show that because some systems are more child-friendly, doesnt mean that its restricted to kids games forever. Im not a fanboy nor am Io overly opinionated- but I would choose innovation over graphical capability anyday. I’ll defintely purchase the Nintendo Wii over the ps3 because its something we have never seen before. Not something we all are used to, upgraded.

Look, personally I am tired of DS bashers, and same for PSP bashers. They are both good, I personally like the DS more. Ok so the DS does not come with multimedia, but you can buy add ons to allow it to do so. Something I hear alot is, “DS graphics suck.” Look that is bull, DS graphics are damn good. Yeah the PSP has better graphics, but that doesn’t mean the DS can not have good graphics. Metroid Prime Hunters anyone? Mario 64 DS? Come on the graphics are awesome. I am no fanboy, because I really only like Nintendo’s handhelds. To put it simiply DS and PSP are great systems. It is a matter of preference.

**** it ill get a ds lol it sounds more original.. and i just don’t have the money for a psp.. ‘m actually INTRIGUED by the ds touch screen.. and i havent really considered buying one until now.. by the sounds of things ds would suit MY needs better, as im just about to do my GCSEs, a bit of fun, non-frustrating entertainment from the ds, and refreshing originality, would help me through solid revision timetables and anxiety.. and although the graphics on SOME of its games may be crud, i saw nintendogs and was actually amazed! Plus when you think about it.. many of teh games focus on addiction.. not slick looks like the PSP does… so thats it.. ive made MY choice.. u can all make ur own choices

i feel like such a dumb ass that i have read like over half these comments and still cannot choose which console to buy.. someone help me – i have 100 quid from my birthday.. now im wondring.. do i spend it now on a ds for 89.99 from argos? or save my money for a few months for a psp.. I NEED SOME ANSWERS!!! but take these factors into consideration:
-I own a PS2
-I own an MP3 player
-I have a GBA
-I’ve recently been addicted to original games e.g. We love Katamari on ps2 and shadow of the colossus

come on people sure the psp has more graphics but since the start of handheld consoles we always wanted the gameboy from nintendo they worked to give us the gameboys that we loved and now its no different only that sony made a new handheld console but sony never made us handhelds before they just copied nintendo so i say we should have honour and buy nintendo ds cause we always liked nintendo handhelds and now we should continue buying it

hey jess, how could u talk about PSP’s design when the DS looks like a brick when u close it and the graphics SUCK. DS is a WEAK sorry excuse for a gaming system. PSP is 20 times more powerful not to mention its small sleak design

How could neone think that DS is better? Most of u people who commented don’t even have a PSP!!! So who are u to talk. The only thing DS is good for is playing games and the new wi-fi. who cares? PSP has always had wi-fi, not only that but a stronger wi-fi level. DS SUCKS!! Oh yeah and i tried that stupid pictochat thing and it didn’t work. I had to call the company and they said u have to be within 100 feet of another DS!! Thats from my bedroom to the other side of my house!!!

PSP SUCKS, I was their whaen my friends open his psp, and now what, the screen had about 20 bad pixles, the analog was chiped off, and the screen was scrachted, oh yaaa, it was bought brand ndewfrom wallmart, ds is cool, its cheapwer, little kids cam play them,
and Nintendos been around longer then shity sony! DS has goood classic games!, MY FREINDS GOT A NEW PSP, hes a rich type, he bought all the games avilable! he got so bored of thenm! he ACTULLY THREW THE PSP AND GAMES IN THE TRASH! i told him i would of took it instead
but it was to late. He bought a ds, and thats his favoirt system! He has only 4 games, mario ds, animal crossing, lost in blue, and finall fantisy 2
AND ALL THOSE PSP FANS! THUIS SITE IS FOR DS! NOT YOU STUPID ONE SCREEN PADDLE SHAPED GAME PLAYERS!
