Microsoft to broadcast two new Web-only video series from Reveille

Software giant Microsoft has said that they are now going to host two new Web-only video series from Reveille. Reveille has been the production company behind the popular television series “The Office” and “Ugly Betty.”

The company added that they have already signed up advertising deals with Volvo Car Corp. and whisky maker Chivas Brothers for these two new shows.

These two new shows are Driving School and This is the Life. These would be broadcasted on the Microsoft’s MSN Web site in the next six months.

Microsoft and Reveille have already been involved in a series of MSN shows. Some of these shows were primarily developed for advertising products and services.

The broadcast of such series is one of the several ways Microsoft is trying to make their video services popular on the web. The market is primarily dominated by Google owned YouTube.com which has already become a lawsuit target by several media companies.

Such deals ensure that decent programming is available on your service without any legal hassles.
