Palm Treo 755p for Sprint announced
Palm Inc has announced their latest Smartphone product named Treo 755p. This Smartphone has been developed to be used by the customers of Sprint Nextel Corp. wireless network.
It features mobile voice control and a new instant message application. The company would be selling the device for $380 when purchased with a two-year voice service agreement. Buyers would then also be eligible for a $100 rebate.
Palm said that the Treo 755p would be available in midnight blue and burgundy starting mid-May. Incidentally, this is also the first phone from the company to feature built-in Microsoft Direct Push for e-mail and Google Maps for mobile.
Danny Bowman, vice president of customer equipment at Sprint said in a statement that they are hoping that this product would be as successful as their Treo 700p.
The Palm 755p is powered with the Palm OS and includes a dual band Code Division Multiple Access 2000 Evolution Data Optimized radio.
