HP Photosmart A516 ultra portable printer launched in India

World’s largest personal computer maker Hewlett Packard has launched their new HP Photosmart A516 ultra portable printer in the Indian market.

The company claims that this printer offers users the convenience of wirelessly printing high quality photos through Bluetooth enabled devices at any time without the need of a PC.

The printer has been priced economically at 5,499/- and supports most memory cards, iPods, flash drives (including thumb drives) and PictBridge enabled cameras.

HP added that this printer features a fold-up design and is also available with an optional internal battery to enable true portable printing.

The HP Photosmart A516 ultra portable printer also features a 1.5-inch image display that allows users to view, edit and print photos without the need of a PC. It weighs around 1.5 KG.

Hewlett Packard added that the HP A516 is available with HP’s new Vivera Ink formulations and a separate printhead that allows users to print high-quality 4 x 6-inch photos and text that are instant-dry, water-resistant and long lasting, in less than 53 seconds.

They are supplying the printer with HP Photosmart Premier software that allows users to edit, organize, print, share, archive and create digital photo projects.
