Oakley’s Latest Eyewear features Digital Music Player
Wearable computers have been a fantasy for humans since a long time. Nevertheless, wearable music players have somewhat arrived in the market with high profile Oakley coming out with eyewear which comes equipped with a digital music player.
This might save the inconvenience of wires tangling from the neck to the music player, but it does not come cheap. Sunglasses with 128megs data storage cost around USD 395 while the ones with 256megs is worth around USD 495.
iPod and other music players come with much larger capacities at lower costs. The frames feel similar to normal sunglasses and weigh only around 1.8 ounces. The music device supports both Windows OS and Apple and can play WMA, MP3 and even Wave files. It uses USB cables to synchronize with computers, which also works as the charger for the batteries.
Nice concept…
