Samsung showcases world’s largest storage-capacity memory card for mobile phones
South Korean tech giant Samsung has announced that they have now developed the world’s largest storage-capacity memory card for mobile phones.
The company showcased their 8GB memory card, microSD. This much space would make the mobile phone to store as many as 2,000 MP3 music files, 4,000 photographs or five DVD-quality movie files.
This new card is only a quarter the size of the widely-used and existing SD card. It also boasts of high data transfer speeds required for fast operations on the mobile phone devices.
Looks like we can now see some real potent rival products to challenge the upcoming Apple iPhone which would come in two capacities: 4GB and 8GB.
