Avis Rent A Car System to offer Avis Connect service wireless internet service
Avis Rent A Car System has announced that they are now going to offer a new wireless internet service to their customers.
This service has been named Avis Connect service and it would allow the users to connect to the web in its rented cars, hotel rooms and other places they might visit during the trip.
They would make available this service at $10.95 per day and the device would be capable of transmitting a Wi-Fi signal to multiple devices at the same time.
Avis is using technology supplied by hardware maker Autonet Mobile to launch this wireless internet service. They get the internet connectivity from the mobile service providers.
They launched their service at the San Francisco International Airport and are going to expand it to other major cities in the United States.
