Apple Rumors: Apple iMac series to be updated next month
Apple Inc. is rumored to be working on upgrading their iMac range of products sometime next month.
An article posted by the ThinkSecret website claims that the company is likely to drop the 17in model from the iMac lineup.
Apple currently offers their iMac product in four models. Two of them features a 17” screen which the other two comes with a 20 and 24 inch screens.
If we look at the recent Apple MacBook series update, if Apple indeed upgrades their iMac range of products, consumers are likely to get better configurations at the same or lower price points.
Apple could be planning to remove the 17” model from their lineup to simplify production considering the cost different between the 17” and 20” screen has gone down massively in the recent months.
