Google now showing todays hot topics on Google Trends

Search engine giant Google has updated their Google Trends service to show the daily hot topics of search on their search engine.

The company said that this would highlight the latest topics which are on the user’s mind on a given day.

They are going to highlight a daily list of the 100 hottest topics on their search engine service.

Google added that they would remove those items from the list which remains the most popular searched for keywords over a longer period of time. This would include keywords related to weather, adult content and names of popular celebrities which already dominates their zeitgeist page.

Amit Patel, a Google software engineer who worked on this project said in a statement: “It’s very entertaining and it’s very addictive.”

The listings would be accompanied with related latest blog posts about them along with a graph showcasing their popularity over a period of time.
