Google launches AdSense for Video pilot program
Internet advertising market giant Google has launched their AdSense for Video pilot program. The company has started this test program to enable selected publishers to insert streaming video ads in online video content on their Web sites.
Christine Lee, AdSense product marketing manager spoke about this pilot program in a blog post: “With this pilot, publishers control when the ads play in their videos and choose which videos get the ads.”
She added that the company hopes that this program will add value to publishers’ sites and will help engage site visitors.
Lee further said: “This pilot represents our continued efforts to address the challenges faced by publishers who want to monetize their video content, by advertisers who want access to quality video inventory, and finally by users who want ads to enhance their video watching experience, not detract from it.”
They have already signed up enough publishers to test the service and its not open for new users at the moment.
