Verizon Wireless could use LG Prada to challenge the upcoming Apple iPhone

Apple is due to launch their highly anticipated mobile phone product Apple iPhone sometime next month.

They are going to launch the iPhone in exclusive partnership with AT&T. This puts the rival telecom companies in the market at a huge disadvantage.

Verizon is one of those players who have a huge challenge in hand. Market sources say that the company is considering launching the LG Prada, or KE850 mobile device to counter the iPhone in the US market.

Apple iPhone features a 3.5-inch, 160 dot-per-inch color screen, a 2 megapixel digital camera and an advanced touchscreen.

LG Prada is a sleek mobile handset developed by LG in collaboration with fashion house Prada. However, it is unlikely that Verizon would be able to offer the LG Prada at a much lower price compared to the Apple iPhone.

This can’t be the answer to the iPhone… it is going to take more than a pretty (expensive) logo slapped onto LG’s newest phone to beat the iPhone. But hey, at least the Prada will match some people’s shoes, “I’ve got Prada shoes and their phone, therefore I am better than you and your non-matching shoes and iPhone.” lol

Let’s not forget about the Nike + iPod Kits. “My iPhone talks to my shoes wirelessly, therefore…”
