Yahoo Search Marketing Commercial API Program for Panama now available
Search engine company Yahoo has now made available APIs to let third party developers build tools and applications for its new Panama search advertising platform.
These APIs have been made available under the Yahoo Search Marketing Commercial API Program.
The APIs are available to anyone interested in getting access to them. The company hopes that the tools developed using them would in the end help Yahoo search advertisers, ad agencies, search marketing consultants, and commercial application developers.
Panama is an important part of the Yahoo’s strategy as they aim to challenge the Google’s domination in the online advertising market.
However, in the end they need to have a better search engine considering a bulk of ad revenues is generated from the ads on the search result pages. And this is where Google has a big advantage over Yahoo.
