Sony Ericsson launches CyberShot K850 and Walkman W960 mobile phones

Sony Ericsson has launched two new high end mobile phones which are likely to become their challenger to the upcoming Apple iPhone mobile phone device.

The company launched the 5-megapixel CyberShot K850 which they hope would become the first mobile phone with a 5 mp digital camera to be offered by carriers in the US market.

Incidentally, Nokia already sells their Nokia N95 mobile phone with a 5 megapixel camera in the US market but directly to the customers.

The Sony Ericsson CyberShot K850 is a slim and sleek phone and measures 4 inches by 1.9 inches x 0.67 inches. It weighs just around 4.16 ounces.

The other phone launched by the company is W960 Walkman mobile phone. This phone comes with 8 GB of flash memory which makes it comparable to the more expensive version of the Apple iPhone. It supports Wi-Fi, plus UMTS and GPRS and comes with a keyboard.

Sony Ericsson also announced a range of new Bluetooth watches which are otherwise manufactured by Fossil but work with Sony’s mobile phone devices.
