Google starts account migration on YouTube
Search engine giant Google acquired the web’s most popular video sharing destination YouTube late last year.
The latest report in is that Google has now started the account migration on the service to let members connect their YouTube account to their Google ID.
This is expected to help the user experience on the service as they would not have to maintain two different user id and passwords for the services Google offer.
Yahoo did something similar with their Flickr service after their acquired the photo sharing service.
YouTube continues to dominate all the other video sharing services but also continues to face legal hassles. Google recently announced that they were testing a video identification service to detect pirated media uploaded on the service.
