Nokia 6267, Nokia 6121 and Nokia 3500 mobile phone launched
World’s largest mobile phone maker Nokia has launched three new mobile phone products. These are: Nokia 6267, Nokia 6121 and Nokia 3500.
With this the company has now boosted their range of mid-range phones which has somewhat become their weak spot in the recent times.
Market analysts believe that the company needs to enhance their focus on the $200-330 price level to keep improving on their market share which hovers around 35% these days.
Incidentally, Nokia has already launched 26 new models this year.
The three new phones from Nokia:
Nokia 6267: It is a third generation music and multimedia phone and is likely to sell for 240 Euros excluding subsidies and taxes.
Nokia 6121: It is a 3G enabled mobile phone device and would sell for 260 Euros excluding subsidies and taxes.
Nokia 3500: It is a traditional looking mobile phone from the company and would sell for around 135 Euros.
Urpo Karjalainen, Nokia’s senior vice president for Asia- Pacific spoke on their aim for the coming months: “We now see our share of the global market expanding to above the current estimate of 36 percent.”
eQ Bank analyst Jari Honko was not impressed however: “Nokia has not been terribly strong in the mid-range, and these might help somewhat. The new phones are good looking, they look like improved versions of older ones, but they will not change the world.”
