Clusty launches their mobile search service

Clusty has launched their own mobile search service. The company is popular for their clustered search engine for online searching and the same is now available on the mobile platform.

On clicking a search result, the engine optimizes Web sites for mobile phones, displaying pages to fit in the small screen of the phone.

It also strips out the images which would not render/fit well on the mobile screen making it a more pleasant experience for the end user.

Raul Valdes-Perez, CEO of Vivisimo added that the websites are filtered through Clusty servers where the pages are processed and optimized for mobile devices.

With this, Clusty becomes the latest player to join this segment which already has some big names including Google, Yahoo, Microsoft, AOL, and Ask.com.
