LG-KU580: LG to launch Google compatible phones in Europe
South Korean consumer electronics maker LG Electronics has said that they would launch a new mobile handset in the European market which would come loaded with mobile services from Google.
The phone would be the 3G compatible LG-KU580 and it would offer one-click access to Google’s search engine along with other services including Google maps and Gmail.
LG spokesman Choi Jun-Hyuk added: “We will sell our new 3G Google phones this week in five European countries — Italy, France, Germany, Romania and the Czech Republic. The phone will allow users to easily search for information, find locations and manage e-mail.”
LG added that the phone features a two-inch display panel, a camera and other features like FM radio reception and Bluetooth wireless connectivity.
LG and Google signed on a deal in April this year to develop such phones.
