Apple TV YouTube update added some other minor features as well
Apple recently updated their Apple TV device to add YouTube functionality on the player. Users of Apple TV device can browse videos on the Google owned YouTube service and watch videos on their television set.
The company also delivered some security and feature updates through this patch. One of the new features is addition of Parental Control. Parents can use this tool to prevent their kids from accessing the YouTube video section through the device. They can either turn it off or make the section accessible using a password.
Another improvement is in the Apple TV’s screen saver feature. Users can now choose from their library or the photos they have added or from the default photo set delivered by the company with the Apple TV device.
Users can also now put their Photos on priority when they are syncing their computer with the Apple TV device. Earlier, the sync process processed the data in the same sequence it was added on the sync list.
Another feature update in the latest Apple TV firmware is that the users are now able to access iTunes Stores in other countries. They would be able to check out the preview of the top 10 tracks on these stores.
