Apple Mac Notebook sales are growing
market research firm NPD has said in a report that Apple is gaining momentum in the notebook market with their range of Mac book and Mac book Pro.
The company’s market share jumped almost two percent in May as they continue to sell a large number of notebook models in the market.
NPD’s report said that Apple’s MacBook and MacBook Pros rose from 12.5 percent in April 2007 to 14.3 percent share of the market in May 2007.
The sales of desktops is not that impressive as they rose from 10.2 percent to 10.4 percent over the same time period.
With this, Apple stands at fourth place behind Hewlett Packard, Toshiba and Gateway.
Apple keeps on regularly updating their laptop products and recently launched the Santa Rosa versions of their MacBook Pros.
