Tata is a cheater by giving everything an Indian name. He is not concerned about the safety standards. He just wants to make money on poor Indians. If the car costs Rs 1 lakh, just calculate the amount of money he is giving to his employees who work for tata.

i want to purchase this car whenever it will be launched but there is no information of launch date why?

i m staying out of city assam roads r good but not like metros mostly highways travelling daily 40km is it possible with this nano or anjar panjar will come out.suppose iwant to go for travel say400-450km is it possible ?
is it possible in hills of shillong with half clutch is used.

Tata is a great company and open the doors to other companies to think about a cheap and best car. Tata opened doors for automobile industry to get more ideas to make a reasonble low price car.

what ever tatas do, they always do their best n loved by their customers. i m sure this will be a turning point in the small car segment. once again tata are going to throng the market of maruti & others.

I'd rather buy a Maruti 800 if they price it against the Tata car since its a tried and tested formula.

I am happy to know that the lanch date for this dream car has been fixed as 10th Jan. 2008. But I would like to know the booking commencement date in Chennai. Can anyone update me on the detail.

I think Rs 1lac is a bit too much for a car.I honestly feel that the prices should still be lowered so that poor people like us can affored it.Its still expensive as far my opinion goes.I would probably wait for a more cheaper car which would come arounf 45 - 50 thousand.

it is nice car to ride in the city. it will helpful for the house wife to leave their children to school, music class, drawing class, dance class, shopping ect. and to comute to distence around 150 km from the city coolly. i am weightin to purchase the car and to test drive. thanks to tata gi as he started this projcet after seaing the family wet on a bike. as all these posible because he abserve that family.

sounds good..... as a project and product it is ground breaking..... but in the hands of us Indians ??????? next thing u know they may be cutting traffic and overtaking from the left as the bikes do.... CHAOS... cars can be purchased not driving culture and decorum... WILL THIS REVOLUTIONISE or DEMONISE INDIAN ROADS?? of course even rich guys crash expensive ones too.... Hey all this talk of 1 Lakh car.... How about a Decent diesel at 2.5 Lakhs... WHY NOBODY'S come up with one at that range... boon to a lot of middle middle class folks... can't grasp what these head honchos think about launching a product....REMEMBER late 90's- MATIZ first launched and only fully loaded at 4 plus Lacs :: SANTRO first launched starting at around 2.95-3 lacs less then the ZEN at around 3.4 lacs..... by the time the BIGWIGS at Daewoo got around too make things right the Santro story had reached deep into India... VALUE FOR MONEY - thats my assessment of the Indian Consumer.... not just cheap or fully loaded

When is it going to get launched? Does any1 know anything about booking it in advance? Its really a good thing to come. Only problem after that would be of parking and traffic coz lot of people will try to accomodate their four wheeler dreams in this car. Cities like Mumbai & Bangalore would become more congested. People will plan to buy this car instead of buying bikes.
