Apple iPhone coming up in 3 days!

The time is near when people in the US would be able to walk into an Apple or an AT&T store to place an order for an Apple iPhone.

Amazingly, the Apple iPhone is just another mobile phone product featuring similar capabilities which u can access in several mobile phones available in the market since months (even years) now.

Still, being an Apple product… it has generated tremendous amount of expectations on the web.

The phone goes on sale Friday, June 29 at Apple retailers and over 1,800 AT&T stores. The price starts at USD 499 excluding any data/calling plan charges! Customers would be required to get into a 2 year long contract to get hold of an iPhone. They would be charged a hefty cancellation fee if they end up canceling their plan before the period gets over.

The phone is basically a three in one device. It works as a very capable mobile phone. It also works as a full screen video iPod. And thirdly, it would work as a portable internet access device. It also comes loaded with a 2 megapixel camera.

Apple iPhone is being made available in two capacities: 4GB and 8GB.

One of the most exciting information released by Apple in the recent days is that the device would support the Google powered YouTube video sharing service.

Apple calls the device their best iPod model ever. It has a 3.5-inch “wide screen” display for music, TV shows, and movies you have in your iTunes library.

There are some shortcomings though. The device would not work with AT&T’s fastest network powered by 3G technology (at least in the beginning). As a result, surfing the web could become pretty frustrating on its small screen with long loading times.

Most experts believe that the first edition of the device would have its share of flaws. Analysts further claim that the high price of the device would hinder its sales in the longer run which means that the company would have to drop the prices sometime later this year.

There are other reports saying that the company has already working on a next version of the iPhone which would have better support for mobile broadband technologies. This product is said to be primarily being developed for the European markets.

There are also reports that the company is also developing a cheaper variant of the phone which might not feature as many capabilities but would still be a good buy.

But for now, people they say have already started camping outside Apple stores waiting for their chance to get their hands on the Apple iPhone on the 29th of this month!
