Apple iPhone ownership could cost USD 3000 for a period of two years

Apple has revealed more details on their Apple iPhone contract packages. In simple terms, the ownership of the Apple iPhone device could cost the individual around USD 3000 for a period of two years.

The phone is scheduled for launch on June 29 and incidentally, fans have already started camping outside the Apple Stores to be the first one in line to get their hands on an Apple iPhone.

However, there are other Apple fans who have said that they would wait for the version 2 of the iPhone before making a purchase.

Market analysts are however in an agreement over one thing… the iPhone would become a massive hit and would sell out in large numbers in the initial days if not months.

AT&T has said in a statement that customers at their stores would be limited to acquiring just a single unit.

They have also released details on the data plans which the customer would have to purchase to get their hands on the iPhone.

The packages start at $60 per month for the most basic to just under $100 per month for more talk time.

AT&T however said that the customers are free to choose from their existing packages listed on their website.

UBS analyst John Hodulik wrote in a note on the ownership expenses of the Apple iPhone: “Given the additional features embedded in the iPhone, we believe the pricing is attractive.”
