Google launches Image focused News searches
When people are looking at magazines and newspapers at the stands, they are basically attracted by the images placed on their front pages.
Google seems to have been inspired from the same fact as they have now launched image based searching on their Google News service.
Starting now, Google is now allowing visitors to their Google News service to check out news with respect to the images they carry.
Market analysts believe that the company added this feature to take on Baidu.com in China which has a similar search function.

Edward Yu, president at Beijing-based research firm Analysys International said in a statement: “The first priority for Google China is to try to build up as much traffic as they can in order to close the gap with Baidu, then they can monetize the traffic to get more advertising dollars.”
