Vodafone could be Apple iPhone provider in Europe
Sources are claiming that Vodafone is the favorite to win the European rights for Apple’s iPhone.
The iPhone has already been launched in the US market where Apple has collaborated with AT&T to launch the phone.
The company wants to launch the iPhone in the European market and they are yet to confirm the details.
Vodafone faces stiff challenge from local competitors including Orange and the German-owned T-Mobile to sign up a deal with Apple to bring the iPhone in Europe.
The Apple iPhone could become the biggest tool in the hands of the winning telecom company to attract customers from rival companies.
Most European markets are already pretty saturated and it’s hard for them to gain customers without offering something special to drive customers away from competing mobile service providers.
