Apple iPhone: AT&T activation was the biggest hassle for customers
Apple has said that the launch of the Apple iPhone has been pretty successful. They have not released any figures but most stores are almost already out of stock.
Critics are quite impressed with this new mobile product launched by the company. Consumers too have given their thumbs up for the Apple iPhone.
However, the biggest hassle they faced with the iPhone was that the activation process with AT&T servers was somewhat buggy.
Market sources say that about 2 percent of people who bought the Apple iPhone have been experiencing delays in activating their service.
AT&T spokesman Mark Siegel blamed the issues on the technology and process based. He said: “We’re just looking at everything to get customers activated in a timely fashion.”
Some other customers faced problems trying to transfer their existing numbers from competing service providers. AT&T said on this front that some of the delays were caused as AT&T needed to get approval from telecom managers before transferring a corporate service to a private service.
